 Amber - Late Harvest Viognier

Located in Los Alamos of Santa Barbara County, the White Hawk Vineyard rests on a south facing slope with particularly sandy soil boasting good drainage.

Our winemaker’s preference for a long hang-time results in fruit-forward wines with balanced acidity. Neutral oak barrels are used to provide just enough weight and texture to compliment the fruit flavors.  Aromas of honeysuckle and white peach  are found on the nose and continue onto the palate, as well as refreshing apricot and pear.  With a heavy body, this wine finishes beautifully with lingering fruit flavors accented by balanced acidity.  Serve a half glass with a dessert such as peach or apple pie to cap off an amazing meal.    With its high sugar and alcohol content, this wine can age for many years (5—10).
