2008 Roussanne

Located in the North East corner of Santa Barbara County, the Highlands vineyard produces fruit with notable varietal character and texture unlike any other in Santa Barbara County due to elevation (3,200 feet) which controls summer heat.

On the nose you will find ripe melon and pineapple. These flavors are found on the palate in addition to butterscotch and grapefruit. This wine has a grand finish of spice with notes of oak and honeycomb. A vivacious, full-bodied wine that stands out from other white wines complimented with complexity and a sophisticated texture.
