A 50/50 blend of two cold climate Syrah’s, this wine was created using fruit from the well-established Edna Valley Ranch in San Luis Obispo County and the Zotovich Vineyard in Santa Barbara County.  

Spice and complexity are characteristic of the Edna Valley Syrah, while the darker flavors and richer pigment are characteristics of the Zotovich fruit.  In the glass, you will observe a rich, ruby color with the nose displaying spices and cherry.  Mid-palate reveals dark fruit, darker flavors, depth and complexity.  The finish unveils dark chocolate, notes of vanilla and pepper offering flavors that will coat your mouth.  Concentrated and complex yet balanced with a silky mouth feel this Reserve is a highly versatile wine that won’t be around for very long!
